Abstract:
A gas barrier packaging bag that is transparent, having excellent gas barrier properties, and exhibits a tearing linearity permitting linear tearing and opening by hands. This packaging bag can be prepared from a laminate film comprising a substrate film of transparent polymer material with tearing linearity and, superimposed thereon, a gas barrier layer of mixture of polyvinyl alcohol resin and inorganic laminar compound, the laminate film having a sealant layer superimposed through an adhesive layer on the surface of either the substrate film or the gas barrier layer. Alternatively, the packaging bag can be prepared from a laminate film comprising a substrate film of transparent polymer material with tearing linearity and, superimposed thereon, either a deposited thin film layer of inorganic oxide or this deposited thin film layer plus a gas barrier coating layer arranged in this order, the laminate film having a sealant layer of heat fusible resin superimposed on the surface of any of them.
