Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of comprehensive recycling of waste lead-acid storage batteries, and provides a technique for producing a lead-calcium alloy using waste lead grids of waste lead-acid storage batteries, comprising: melting a waste lead grid in a smelting pot at low temperature, the melting temperature being controlled at 350-500°C; removing ashes and slags; adding a copper removal agent to remove copper to obtain a copper-free lead liquid; heating the copper-free lead liquid to 580-650°C; adding an antimony-arsenic removal and tin preservation agent to remove antimony and arsenic so as to obtain a tin-containing lead liquid; and then purifying the tin-containing lead liquid to prepare a lead-calcium alloy. The lead-calcium alloy produced has the tensile strength, density, hardness, corrosion resistance and other indexes basically the same as those of the lead-calcium alloy prepared by the original electrolytic lead and meets the use requirements of storage battery lead-calcium alloy. The technique is simple, the operation is convenient, and the production efficiency is high. The valuable metal, tin, in the waste lead grids is effectively utilized. The production cost of the lead alloy preparation is reduced. No smoke and odor is generated in the reaction process for removing antimony and arsenic, and thus the working environment is good.
