Abstract:
A carry conveyor where a pair of guide rails, on each of which a guide surface for guiding both side faces of an object to be guided in the carrying direction is provided, are extended in the carrying direction, and that has a conveyor belt supporting the object to be carried, of which both side faces are guided by the guide surfaces, and carrying it in the carrying direction. A telescoping mechanism is provided on one side end portion of each guide rail so as to be telescopable in the carrying direction. A telescoping guide surface is formed on a surface opposite each telescoping mechanism so as to be continuous from and flush with the guide surface regardless of a telescoped position. Pulleys for supporting ends of an endless body in a circulatable manner are arranged on opposite faces on the telescoping mechanism. With the structure above, the guide surfaces for guiding the side faces of the object to be carried are continuously formed even when end portions of the guide rails are telescoped by the telescoping mechanism.
