Abstract:
Disclosed is a telescopic connecting rod (1) of a cylinder-type internal combustion engine, which differs from the connecting rod structure of the existing engine in that: the length of the connecting rod (1) can extend or contract in a certain range such that when sucking air, a piston (4) is actuated to work when the connecting rod (1) is driven by a crankshaft (3) to extend to the longest extent due to a negative air pressure inside a cylinder, and thus the suction stroke of the cylinder piston (4) is relatively decreased; when the piston (4) performs a compressing operation and a working operation, the crankshaft (3) drives the connecting rod to contract to the shortest extent due to a positive air pressure inside the cylinder, so as to push the piston to work, and the connecting rod returns to the original length thereof, and thus the suction stroke of the piston (4) is decreased relative to the work stroke, thereby forming an unequal-stroke operation of the piston of the engine. In this way, more pressure from the gas expansion caused by each combustion in the engine can be converted into work, and the invention has the beneficial effects such as little combustion consumption and high efficiency.
