Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a telescopic drinking straw and an automated production process. The drinking straw comprises an inner tube (1) and an outer tube (2), wherein the inner tube (1) and the outer tube (2) can slide relative to each other and are locked when slide to the maximum length. The inner tube (1) comprises a flared end (3) and a stop end (4), and the outer tube (2) comprises a chamfered end (5), an engagement recess (6) and a reduced-diameter end (7), wherein the outer diameter of the flared end (3) is smaller than the inner diameter of the outer tube (2), and the outer diameter of the inner tube (1) is smaller than the inner diameter of the reduced-diameter end (7) of the outer tube (2); and the flared end (3) is engaged between the engagement recess (6) and the reduced-diameter end (7) when the inner tube (1) and the outer tube (2) are locked. The drinking straw can achieve the functions of freely extending and retracting and extending to be locked, and is flexible for storage, simple to use and has an efficient production flow.
