Abstract:
Provided is a telescopic pipe that expands and contracts easily, has a high level of fixing strength in the telescoping direction, and exhibits a small degree of outward projection of a stopper member. The telescopic pipe is provided with: a first pipe member having a thin section (13) formed to a prescribed length from an engaging-side tip toward a base end side, and a flexible engaging member (15) that is a cut-out section formed in the lower side of the thin section (13) and has a projection (152) provided on the tip thereof and that projects farther to the inside than the inner perimeter surface of the pipe; a second pipe member (2) for slide-inserting into the first pipe member (1) and engaging therewith, and having a plurality of grooves (23) for engaging with the projection (152) and formed on the outer perimeter surface at a prescribed pitch in the lengthwise direction; and a ring-shaped stopper member (3) having a thick section (31) for insertion into the thin section (13), and for restricting the bending of the flexible engaging member (15) toward the outside, by sliding to a tightening side, facing the thick section (31) toward the thin section (13) of the first pipe member (1), and moving the same closer to one another.
