Abstract:
A telescopic vertical column, and tent having same. The telescopic vertical column (10, 100) comprises an inner tube (1, 10) and an outer tube (2, 20) sleevedly connected, and a fastening mechanism fastening the inner tube (1, 10) to the outer tube (2, 20). The inner tube (1, 10) has an open end portion (11, 110) insertion-connected to the outer tube (2, 20), and is provided with an elongated recess (12, 120) on a side wall thereof. The fastening mechanism comprises a tensioning portion providing a tension to expand the open end portion (11, 110) outward along a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the inner tube (1, 10), and an engagement assembly fixed to the open end portion (11, 110) to engage with the tensioning portion. Operation holes (101, 201) corresponding to the tensioning portion are provided on side walls of the inner tube (1, 10) and outer tube (2, 20). The telescopic vertical column (10, 100) of the present invention tensions the inner tube (1, 10) by means of the tensioning portion and the engagement assembly to securely fasten the inner tube (1, 10) and outer tube (2, 20) together, facilitates operation, and increases a load-carrying capacity, thus enabling convenient assembly of a tent and a small volume of the tent when packaged.
