Abstract:

A telop movement processing device is provided with a means that specifies a pixel belonging to a portion regarded as a character string inserted with an overlap on a background in an enlarged image of a specific frame image included in video data; a means that judges if any of pixels belonging to the portion regarded as the character string is a pixel outside of the display area of a part in the enlarged image and, if any of the pixels belonging to the portion regarded as the character string is judged to be the pixel outside of the display area, calculates an amount of such a movement that all pixels or main pixels belonging to the portion regarded as the character string can be received within the display area; and a means that specifies a movement destination pixel in accordance with the amount of the movement as for pixels belonging to the character string in the case where pixels or character strings belonging to the portion regarded as the character string are expressed by a specific font and substitutes a predetermined color for a color at the movement destination pixel.
