A temperature adjusting device for mounting on a vehicle, having a simple configuration which, when an electric part mounted within a temperature adjusting chamber fails, facilitates service replacement, repair, or inspection. An evaporator (21) in a refrigeration cycle is contained within a temperature adjusting chamber (20) comprising a heat insulating wall body (23) provided with: a circulation fan (22); a discharge air path (25); and a return air path (26). A compressor (14), a condenser (15), and a heat dissipation fan for cooling the compressor (14) and the condenser (15) are arranged within a machine chamber (13). A temperature adjusting unit (2) comprising a containing box (11) for containing a circuit board (12), etc. is installed within a napping cabin. The temperature in a target space is adjusted by discharging cool air or warm air created by the evaporator into the space. A relay connector (36) for connecting a wire bundle (30) from the circuit board (12) in the containing box and a wire bundle (37) from electric parts within the temperature adjusting chamber is disposed near the temperature adjusting chamber.
