Abstract:
The present invention relates to a temperature control device for a rolling finishing mill and to a method for the same, and more particularly to a temperature control device for a rolling finishing mill wherein the temperatures between stands are individually measured, and the roller speeds and the cooling spray flow rate are controlled in accordance with the measured temperatures, and to a method for the same. The temperature control device for a finishing mill according to the present invention for achieving the above aim comprises: temperature measuring means which are disposed between the stands of a finishing mill and measure the surface temperature of a sheet member undergoing rolling, and which measure the temperature of the rolling material in a state in which obstructions at the bottom of the surface of the sheet member have been removed; and a control means which controls the drive of the temperature measuring means and controls the temperature of the sheet member in those spaces where the temperature measuring means have been disposed, in accordance with the results of the temperature measurements by the temperature measuring means.
