Abstract:
This temperature detection device is provided with: a detection unit, which receives a response radio wave corresponding to a transmission radio wave, while transmitting the transmission radio wave, and which detects whether the temperature of a subject to be measured is normal or abnormal on the basis of the response radio wave; and a temperature detection unit, which receives the transmission radio wave, and which transmits the response radio wave with respect to the transmission radio wave. The temperature detection unit has a first resonant circuit, which has resonance characteristics that change depending on the temperature of the subject, and which generates the response radio wave when excited by the transmission radio wave. On the basis of the response radio wave received by a second antenna, the detection unit calculates the amplitude, phase or quadrature amplitude of the response radio wave, and compares, on the basis of calculation results, the temperature of the subject with a predetermined temperature.
