A temperature fuse comprises a bottomed cylindrical insulation case having an opening, a soluble alloy disposed in the insulation case, a lead conductor connected at one end thereof to the soluble alloy and led out at the other end thereof from the insulation case through the opening in the insulation case, a flux applied to the soluble alloy, and a sealing body sealing the opening in the insulation case. The volume of the space between the soluble alloy and the sealing body in the insulation case is greater than the volume of the flux. Even if used for high voltage large current cutoff purposes, the temperature fuse rarely suffers seal deterioration or insulation case breakage.
