Abstract:

The objective of the present invention is to provide a temperature history display body which can be stored at room temperature and which can be activated easily at an arbitrarily defined time. In order to solve this problem, a temperature detecting body according to the present invention is provided with: a substrate; a color forming layer including a color forming agent; a temperature-sensitive layer including a developing agent which promotes formation of the color of the color forming agent or a change in the color thereof, and a temperature-sensitive agent which melts when a prescribed temperature is exceeded; and a diffusion preventing layer which is disposed between the color forming layer and the temperature-sensitive layer and which prevents diffusion of the developing agent into the color forming layer; wherein the temperature-sensitive layer, the diffusion preventing layer and the color forming layer are stacked in order on the substrate, a side surface of the temperature-sensitive layer is covered with a non-porous member, and the diffusion preventing layer is fixed to the non-porous member using an adhesive agent which peels off at or below a prescribed temperature.
