Abstract:
This temperature management system has the following: a first temperature detection unit (32) that detects the temperature of a heat-generating component (14a) in an electronic device (14); a cooling device (12) that cools said heat-generating component (14a) by circulating air through the electronic device (14); a second temperature detection unit (33) that detects the temperature of air entering the electronic device (14); a parameter setting unit (31) whereby a target temperature for the heat-generating component (14a) is set; and a control unit (30). Said control unit (30) computes a predicted future temperature for the heat-generating component (14a) on the basis of the power consumption of the electronic device (14) and output from the first temperature detection unit (32) and the second temperature detection unit (33), and on the basis of said predicted future temperature and the abovementioned target temperature, the control unit (30) determines an operating level for the cooling device (12).
