Abstract:
A temperature sensitive body (102) used as an object of which temperature is to be optically measured comprises an inclusion (200) of which optical properties to illuminating light change in accordance with changes in temperature and an outer shell member (202) that covers the inclusion (200) and that allows the passage of light. During temperature measurement, light is emitted from the inclusion (200) when the inclusion (200) is illuminated with light. The temperature of the inclusion (200) can be detected by analyzing the emitted light since the optical properties of the inclusion to illuminating light change in accordance with changes in temperature. The temperature at a position at which the temperature sensitive body is disposed can be detected from the temperature of the inclusion (200).
