Abstract:
Disclosed is a temperature sensor (1) which comprises: a temperature sensing element (2) that is formed of a low thermal expansion ceramic which has a linear thermal expansion coefficient of from 3 × 10-6/°C to 5 × 10-6/°C and changes in the electrical characteristics with temperature; a pair of electrode films (20) that are provided on the surface of the temperature sensing element (2); and a pair of lead wires (21) that are bonded to the electrode films (20) and have a linear thermal expansion coefficient of 15 × 10-6/°C or less. The temperature sensor (1) is characterized in that when the linear thermal expansion coefficients of the temperature sensing element (2), the electrode films (20) and the lead wires (21) are respectively represented by Ta, Tb and Td, the relation of Ta ≤ Tb ≤ Td is satisfied.
