Abstract:
When a pair of claws (54) clamps an electronic component (80) to mount the electronic component (80) on a substrate (100), a plate-shaped template (10) is used for checking whether the pair of claws (54) interferes with another component 81 in the vicinity of a mounting position (200). In an electronic component clamping device (50), a distance W (54) between the pair of claws (54) when the pair of claws (54) are in an opened position can be selected from among a plurality of distances in accordance with the size of the electronic component (80). The template (10) is provided with a first region (12) having a width (W12) corresponding to the selected distance between the pair of claws (54) when the pair of claws (54) are in the opened position.
