The present invention provides a template recommendation method for customizing a template library, comprising: acquiring a recommendation rule and a configured template of a target object; determining at least one target recommendation template set among a plurality of recommendation template sets on the basis of the article category range; filtering the configured template from each target recommendation template set in the at least one target recommendation template set to obtain a target recommendation template subset of each target recommendation template set; determining, from the target recommendation template subset of each target recommendation template set, at least one target template as a recommended template on the basis of at least one of a customization item attribution rule, a customization item combination rule, and the article category range of the target object; and sending the recommended template to the target object, so that the target object generates a new customized article on the basis of the recommended template. The present invention also provides a template recommendation device for customizing a template library, a system, and a medium.
