Abstract:
A temporary nail used to temporarily join nailable members, formed with a collar (2) in the vicinity of the lower part of a head (1) thereof. The collar (2) of the nail has a lower surface (2a) having a predetermined area sufficient to prevent the shank (3) of the nail from entering one of the plurality of members to be joined by the shank (3) beyond a predetermined position, and to press one of the members to be joined against the other members. A part (4) of the shank is formed with a size capable of permitting a claw to be engaged between the head (1) and the collar (2) of the nail. When pulling the nail, the part (4) and the head (1) will project from one of the members thus joined by the nail so the claw can be readily engaged with the part (4) and head (1) of the nail for an easy nail pulling operation.
