Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tension adjustment mechanism and a tension control device which provide excellent responsiveness even in the low-tension conveyance of a web or the like, and introduce less restrictions on arrangement. More specifically, this tension adjustment mechanism adjusts the tension of a web on a web conveyor line on which long webs are conveyed, and is equipped with: two rollers between which the web is stretched; an arm portion which rotatably holds the two rollers, and makes rocking movements with a rotary shaft between the two rollers; and a driving mechanism which applies a rotational force about the rotary shaft to the arm portion. With the web wound around the two rollers in the form of an S or an inverted S, the rotational force applied to the arm portion is changed by the drive unit, thereby adjusting the tension of the web.
