Abstract:
This tensioner unit for auxiliary machine belts, which has a hydraulic damper and a spring attached around a fulcrum shaft of an oscillation arm that supports a tension pulley, is configured to be able to limit pressure in a hydraulic chamber by using a relief valve. An oil passage (27) for connecting between a hydraulic chamber (72) of a hydraulic damper (70) and a sub-reservoir chamber (25) is provided to an oscillation arm (20). A relief valve (110) for opening/closing the oil passage (27) is attached to the oscillation arm (20). The relief valve (110) opens the oil passage (27) to release pressure in the hydraulic chamber (72) to the sub-reservoir chamber (25) when the pressure in the hydraulic chamber (72) exceeds a set pressure.
