Abstract:
Provided is a tensioner configured so that that the movement of the other end of a spring can be prevented using a simple configuration and that the tensioner can be worked easily and can be assembled easily by simple work not requiring skill. A tensioner is provided with: a first shaft member (2) and a second shaft member (3) which are engaged with each other through screw thread sections; a spring (4) for rotating and pressing the first shaft member (2); and a spacer (5) for preventing the dislocation of the first shaft member (2) and the second shaft member (3) from a case (1). One end (41) of the spring (4) is engaged with the first shaft member (2), and the other end (42) thereof is engaged with a slit (6) formed in the case (1) in the longitudinal direction thereof. A movement restriction member (9) for restricting the movement of the other end (42) of the spring (4) in the longitudinal direction of the slit (6) is inserted in the slit (6).
