Abstract:
This tensioning device is provided with a tensioning member which applies tension to a drive cable by being pressed against said drive cable, a biasing member which generates a biasing force pressing the tensioning member against the drive cable, a housing member which houses the tensioning member, and an engagement member which engages the tensioning member with the housing member in the position where the biasing force is stored in the biasing member. The engagement member has an operation unit which protrudes from the contour of the housing member. The engaging member releases engagement of the tensioning member when the operation unit is operated in a direction so as to retract to within the contour.
