Abstract:
Disclosed are a terahertz carrier transmitting device and receiving device, comprising: a feed transmission line, a mode excitation structure, a mode conversion structure, a terahertz transmission line, and a circuit board. The feed transmission line is used for receiving an electric signal transmitted by a radio frequency transmitting circuit. The mode excitation structure is used for exciting a terahertz signal. The mode conversion structure comprises a cavity of which the inner wall is made of a metal, thus allowing the terahertz signal excited by the mode excitation structure to be coupled into the terahertz transmission line. The circuit board is used for fixing the feed transmission line and the mode excitation structure. The mode conversion structure also comprises a positioning groove. A part of the circuit board and the mode excitation structure are inserted into the cavity of the mode conversion structure. Multiple metal through holes are distributed on two sides of the mode excitation structure. The borders of the positioning groove are made of a metal and pressed on the metal through holes on two sides of the mode excitation structure. The present invention implements highly efficient electromagnetic coupling and increases the transmission bandwidth for data.
