Abstract:
Provided is a terahertz light-receiving/light-emitting module whereby the in-plane polarization direction of terahertz light can be freely controlled, and which does not require a module layout change or an optical adjustment even if the in-plane polarization direction is controlled. A module (11) is provided with a hemispherical lens (13), an antenna element (14), a mounting element (15), a fixing cover (12), and a rotating table (16). An antenna pattern is formed on the surface of the antenna element (14), and the antenna element (14) comes into contact with the flat surface of the hemispherical lens (13) at the bottom surface. The mounting element (15) and the fixing cover (12) hold the antenna element (14) and the lens (13). The rotating table (16) rotatably holds a rotating body comprising the lens (13), the antenna element (14), the mounting element (15), and the fixing cover (12).
