Abstract:
Disclosed is a terminal connecting section for a very-low temperature cable, which can be placed transversely even when insulators are omitted. The terminal connecting section for a very-low temperature cable is provided with: a drawing-out conductor one end section of which is connected to a gas insulation apparatus, and the other end of which is connected to a very-low temperature cable; a liquid nitrogen tank that houses therein and supports the drawing-out conductor and the very-low temperature cable, in a state of having one end section of the drawing-out conductor protruded outside; and a bushing comprised of a capacitor cone that covers the outer circumference of the drawing-out conductor. Assuming the end section at the liquid nitrogen tank side of the bushing is called a very-low temperature section, and the end section at the gas insulating apparatus side of the bushing is called a normal temperature section, a pressurized nitrogen gas tank filled with pressurized nitrogen gas is formed around the outer circumference of the section between the very-low temperature section and the normal temperature section.
