Abstract:
This invention is a terminal-connection structure (1) in which a terminal member (4) is inserted into an insertion opening (3a) in an opposing member (3) and connected to said opposing member (3). Said terminal-connection structure (1) is characterized in that the terminal member (4) comprises the following: a main terminal-member body (5) that has an attachment section (51) to which terminals (21a, 21b) on long members (2) are attached and an insertion section (52) that is inserted into the aforementioned insertion opening (3a); and a fitting element (6) that fits together with said insertion section (52). This terminal-connection structure (1) is also characterized in that: the fitting element (6) is provided with a plurality of elastic prongs (61) and a plurality of restricting parts (62) that restrict axial movement of the fitting element (6); the insertion section (52) of the main terminal-member body (5) has a shaft section (52b) that has a narrowed section (52d) that is narrowed in one axial direction; each restricting part (62) has a displaced part (62c) that is displaced in the axially inward direction of the fitting element (6); and the fitting element (6) is attached to the main terminal-member body (5) such that the displaced parts (62c) are parallel to the aforementioned narrowed section (52d). This makes it possible to restrict the fitting element provided with the abovementioned elastic prongs and restricting parts, said fitting element being fitted together with the main terminal-member body, from moving axially with respect to said main terminal-member body.
