Abstract:
A terminal control method and apparatus. The method comprises: when a terminal is in a black screen state, detecting gesture information of a user in a virtual key region of the terminal (S101); and performing operations on the terminal that match the gesture (S102), the operations comprising an operation of unlocking the terminal (S203), or the operations comprising an operation of controlling the terminal to enter a screen-locking interface and displaying at least one triggering element in the screen-locking interface, each triggering element being used for indicating one application (S205). By means of the method and the apparatus, a main interface can be quickly and conveniently entered, so as to reduce operations on a physical key, thereby prolonging the service life of a terminal; and a frequently-used application of a user can be quickly and conveniently opened, thereby reducing tedious operations and saving the time.
