Abstract:
A terminal crimper comprising a base (33) on which an anvil (32) is formed, an elevating/lowering member disposed above the base (33) while being supported movably up and down, a power mechanism for moving the elevating/lowering member in the vertical direction, a pressing member arranged at the lower end of the elevating/lowering member and crushing a crimp terminal (35) being mounted on the anvil (32), and a terminal carrying means (34) for feeding the crimp terminals (35) chained by means of a planar carrier (37) sequentially to the anvil (32). The terminal carrying means (34) comprises a base member (40), a locking pawl (58) lockable to the neck part of the crimp terminal (35), a slide member (52) supported slidably in the substantially horizontal direction, and a cylinder for operating the slide member (52) in the substantially horizontal direction with a power different from that of the power mechanism.
