Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a terminal crimping device and a terminal crimping method, which provide improved crimping quality. A terminal crimping device (1) is used for crimp-connecting an electric wire (11) to each of an adjacent pair of terminals (13A, 13B) of a plurality of terminals (13) connected by a carrier (131). The carrier has a terminal connection section (132) which is connected to each of the terminals, and a connection section (133) which connects adjacent terminal connection sections, and the carrier is provided with: a carrier cutting means (7) which cuts the connection section; a terminal positioning means which positions one terminal (13A) of the pair of terminals such that the one terminal (13A) is located close to the other terminal (13B); and crimping dies (92, 94) configured as a pair in order to crimp-connect the electric wire and each of the terminals.
