Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a terminal device, an adapter, and a charging method. The terminal device of the present disclosure comprises a first Type-C port, the first Type-C port comprising a first group of pins and a second group of pins; the first group of pins are connected to an application processor earphone port or an application processor quick charge port of a terminal device by means of a first switch unit; the second group of pins are connected to the application processor earphone port or the application processor quick charge port by means of a second switch unit; when the value of the impedance-to-ground of the first group of pins is within a preset range, a controller controls the first switch unit to connect the first group of pins to the application processor earphone port, and controls the second switch unit to connect the second group of pins to the application processor quick charge port; or when the value of the impedance-to-ground of the second group of pins is within a preset range, the controller controls the second switch unit to connect the second group of pins to the application processor earphone port, and controls the first switch unit to connect the first group of pins to the application processor quick charge port.
