Abstract:
In order to efficiently control a cell that uses an assigned frequency band, an unassigned frequency band or a shared frequency band, this terminal device is provided with: a control channel processing unit which monitors candidates for an extended physical downlink control channel, and a detection signal processing unit which detects a detection signal from detection signal candidates in a prescribed subframe. The number of extended physical downlink control channel candidates is determined at least on the basis of a prescribed value. The prescribed value is defined as the number of downlink resource elements in a physical resource block pair configured for EPDCCH transmission of EPDCCH sets. The downlink resource elements are all resource elements except those corresponding to detection signal candidates in at least the prescribed subframe.
