Abstract:
The present invention efficiently controls cells using an allocated frequency band, an unallocated frequency band, or a shared frequency band. This terminal device for communicating with a base station device is provided with: an upper layer processing unit which sets a setting for monitoring an EPDCCH for an LAA cell on the basis of a signal from an upper layer; and a reception unit that monitors the EPDCCH based on the aforementioned setting, wherein the reception unit determines the number of an antenna port used for localized EPDCCH transmission in a given subframe on the basis of the start position of an OFDM symbol in said given subframe.
