Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a terminal device that can perform communication efficiently in a communication system in which a base station and a terminal device communicate with one another. [Solution] A terminal device that communicates with a base station comprises an upper layer processing unit that sets one or more SPDCCH settings by upper layer signaling from the base station device; and a receiving unit that monitors SPDCCHs transmitted on the basis of a resource block set by SPDCCH settings, and an expanded subframe having a fewer number of symbols than the number of symbols corresponding to the subframe, on the basis of SPDCCH settings. SPDCCHs are transmitted by at least one control channel element. The control channel element comprises a plurality of resource element groups. The resource element groups are prescribed so as to correspond to symbols in the resource block pairs, for each of the resource block pairs set in SPDCCH settings.
