Abstract:
This terminal device: specifies one among a first resource for which a device incapable of repeatedly transmitting a message 3 in a four-step random access procedure in consecutive slots can transmit a random access preamble, and a second resource which is different from the first resource and for which a device capable of repeatedly transmitting the message 3 in consecutive slots can transmit the random access preamble, as a resource to be used by the terminal device when transmitting the random access preamble, on the basis of capability information on the terminal device; and transmits the random access preamble for the specified resource.
