Abstract:

This disclosure pertains to a terminal device, communication method, program, and communication system capable of reducing the burden on users and realizing one-to-many wireless communications among terminal devices. In this communication system, one base unit and a plurality of handsets carry out one-to-many wireless communications, the base unit being provided with: a management part for managing group information representing a group comprising two or more handsets to which a handset belongs; and a handset connection part for establishing a wireless connection with the handset that matches the group information in which the notified group information is being managed, and for establishing a wireless connection in a continuous manner with a plurality of handsets. The handset is provided with: a notification part for notifying the base unit of group information representing a group comprising two or more handsets to which the handset itself belongs; and a base unit connection part for establishing a wireless connection with the base unit in accordance with a prescribed trigger. This disclosure is applicable to a system for delivering data using one-to-many wireless communications.
