Disclosed in the present application are a terminal device control method, control device and terminal device. The method comprises: monitoring a motion-control command initiated by a user via the terminal device, determining control content corresponding to the monitored motion-control command according to a preset corresponding relationship between the motion-control command and the control content, the corresponding relationship being effective when a communication connection is established between the terminal device and a head-mounted display device, and controlling the terminal device according to the determined control content. When a user uses the head-mounted display device to watch multi-media information playing on the terminal device while not being able to perceive a visual operation interface of the terminal device, using the preset corresponding relationship between a motion-control command and control content to identify a motion-control command initiated by the user via the terminal device effectively improves precision of the terminal device in identifying a motion-control command and greatly improves accuracy in controlling the terminal device.
