Abstract:
Disclosed is a terminal device which solves the problem of energy consumption above that which is necessary in terminal devices having multiple screens. When a prescribed operation is performed on an operation unit (104), a control unit (105) causes an LCD control unit (103) to illuminate at least one of the LCDs (101 and 102) at a first brightness. Thereafter, when one of the LCDs (101 and 102) is selected as a selection operation in the operation unit (104), if the selected LCD is illuminated at the first brightness, the control unit (105) causes the LCD control unit (103) to illuminate the LCD selected by said selection operation at a second brightness which is brighter than the first brightness.
