Abstract:
A battery abnormality detecting device (11), comprising: a voltage leap detecting circuit (12), the voltage leap detecting circuit (12) being used to detect whether battery voltage experiences a leap and to output a leap signal when battery voltage experiences a leap; a current detecting circuit (14), the current detecting circuit (14) being used to detect battery power consumption current and to output a low current signal when the battery power consumption current is lower than a preset current threshold; an abnormality detecting unit (13), the abnormality detecting unit (13) determines that an abnormality is present in the battery when receiving the leap signal and the low current signal, stores status information of the abnormality being present in the battery, and sends the status information of the abnormality being present in the battery to a controller (201) of the terminal equipment (200). The battery abnormality detecting device (11) determines, by means of detecting whether battery voltage experiences a leap and detecting the magnitude of the battery power consumption current, whether an abnormality is present in a battery due to damage, thereby preventing safety hazards caused by battery abnormalities.
