Disclosed is terminal equipment with which the control parameters of a paper currency identification device can be easily and individually set. The terminal equipment (100) is provided with: a first connector (120) for communicating with a paper currency identification device (10) and a storage unit (140) that stores setting information (141) for setting the paper currency identification device (10), and transmits the setting information (141) stored in the storage unit (140) to the paper currency identification device (10) when communication is enabled with the paper currency identification device (10) through the first connector (120). The terminal equipment (100) is also provided with a second connector (130) for communicating with a prescribed information processing device (200), and a control unit (150) that transmits setting information (141) received from the information processing device (200) to the paper currency identification device (10) respectively through the first and second connectors (120, 130) when communication is enabled with the paper currency identification device (10) and the information processing device (200).
