A terminal-equipped electric wire 10 in which a terminal 30 is connected to a core wire 21 exposed from an end part of an electric wire 20 in which the external periphery of the core wire 21 is surrounded by an insulating coating 23, wherein the terminal 30 is provided with a flat-plate-shaped weld part 31 to which the core wire 21 is welded, a bottom plate part 41 which is continuous with the weld part 31 and on which the insulating coating 23 of the electric wire 20 is mounted, and a crimping piece 43 extending from one edge of the bottom plate part 41 in a direction intersecting with the direction in which the electric wire 20 mounted on the bottom plate part 41 extends, the crimping piece 43 is crimped so as to be wound around the external periphery of the insulating coating 23 of the electric wire 20, and a distal-end edge 43A of the crimping piece 43 is positioned closer to the bottom plate part 41 than a first virtual surface P1 which passes through the center O of the electric wire and is perpendicular to the bottom plate part 41, and approaches a side edge of the bottom plate part 41 on the opposite side thereof from the side on which the crimping piece 43 is provided.
