Abstract:
Disclosed is a terminal fitting (10) which has: a wire barrel (31) which crimps the exposed terminals of a core wire (42) in a coated cable (40); an insulation barrel (32) which is at the end of the wire barrel (31) and which fixes the coated cable (40) in place; and a connection section (33) which connects the wire barrel (31) and the insulation barrel (32). The terminal fitting (10) is characterised by an anti-corrosive lead-in groove (36) being formed on the connection section (33) side surface which is in contact with the coated cable (40), said anti-corrosive lead-in groove (36) extending in a direction intersecting with the axial direction of the coated cable (40) and having at least one end section which opens at the edge of the connection section (35).
