Abstract:
A terminal fitting is configured so that the number of parts does not increase and so that the reliability of connection is ensured. A terminal fitting (10) is provided with: a connection section (11) having a support surface (22) to which the conductor (61) of a covered electric wire (60) is affixed by a connection means (80) such as solder; and a positioning section (13) connected integrally to the connection section (11) in the length direction of the covered electric wire (60) and configured so that the outer surface of the cover (62) of the covered electric wire (60) comes into contact with the inner surface of an introduction groove (25) while the covered electric wire (60) is permitted to move out of the introduction groove (25), thereby enabling the conductor (61) to be positioned at a predetermined position on the support surface (22) before the conductor (61) is connected by the connection means (80).
