Abstract:
Provided are: a terminal which is capable of establishing good connection with a flat cable; and a flat cable with the terminal. This terminal (10, 10A, 10B) is connected to a belt-like flat cable (90). The terminal (10, 10A, 10B) is provided with: a base section (12); an interposing section (21, 21A, 21B) disposed so that the flat cable (90) is sandwiched between the base section (12) and the interposing section; and pressing sections (24, 24A, 24B) for pressing the interposing section (21, 21A, 21B) against the flat cable (90).
