Abstract:
The present application relates to an electrical connector. Embodiments provide a terminal, a forming method, and an electrical connector. The terminal comprises a base portion, an elastic arm, a contact portion, and a conductive connection portion; the elastic arm is formed by obliquely extending upwards from the base portion and towards one side of the thickness direction of the base portion; a limiting hole is formed through the elastic arm along the thickness direction of the elastic arm; the limiting hole extends to the top surface of the base portion to divide the bottom of the elastic arm into two sub arms that are arranged at an interval; and the top surface of the elastic arm and the sidewall of the limiting hole adjacent to the top surface are arranged to be arc-shaped surfaces that upwards protrude, and the two ends of each arc-shaped surface in a circumferential direction are respectively connected to the two sub arms. The electrical connector comprises an insulating body and the described terminal. The bottom of the elastic arm is bifurcated, so that when the elastic performance is ensured, the width of the elastic arm can be increased, an original elongated structure is improved, inductive reactance is reduced, and the impedance of the elastic arm is reduced; and the top of the elastic arm is arranged to be "C"-shaped, so that the cross section of a signal transmission path is uniformly changed, the stability and continuity of high-frequency characteristic impedance are improved, and a fluctuation amplitude is reduced.
