Abstract:
Provided is a method for performing roofing surveys without having people climb onto roofs. First, an application installed on a terminal 130 is launch, the user logs in as necessary, and then inputs instructions for new image capture (S201). Next, a pre-flight check screen is displayed on a display screen 131 (S202), and the checking of settings, status and the like which is required before flying a drone 110 is performed. Next, the altitude at which the drone 110 is to fly is selected (S203). After the altitude has been selected, the drone 110 takes off (S204). In response to the transmission, from the terminal 130 to the drone 110, of a take-off command instructing flight at the selected flight altitude, the drone 110 rises directly upwards from the take-off point, and captures images of an area including a roof. During flight, it is possible to vary the altitude (S205). After image capturing is complete, preparation for landing commences, and an image captured by the drone 110 is transmitted to the terminal 130 (S207).
