Abstract:
Disclosed are a terminal and a system and method using same for monitoring a wireless network. The wireless network monitoring system according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a first terminal that includes a packet gap model (PGM) transmitting unit that transmits a plurality of measurement packets in a pre-calculated transmission interval, and a channel quality indicator (CQI) unit that measures a maximum guaranteed speed increase of a corresponding network by obtaining channel quality information about a wireless communication channel; a second terminal that includes a PGM receiving unit receiving the measurement packets and measuring the maximum non-guaranteed speed of a corresponding network through a reception interval of the received measurement packets; and a wireless access point connected to the first terminal through a wireless communication channel.
