Abstract:
Disclosed is a terminal unit that can suppress displacement of a male terminal with respect to a female terminal in the plate width direction, thereby suppressing the increase of a physical contact resistance value caused by microsliding friction between the male and female terminals. A terminal unit 10 comprises: a male terminal 12; and a female terminal 16. The female terminal 16 has a first physical contact part 28, a second physical contact part 30, and spring members 14. The male terminal 12 has a pair of inclined parts 18. The first physical contact part 28 has a pair of first inclined side edges 32 along the inclined parts 18. Each of the first inclined side edges 32 is provided with a first contact point 38. The second physical contact part 30 has a pair of second inclined side edges 44 along the inclined parts 18. Each of the second inclined side edges 44 is provided with a second contact point 50. The spring members 14 have a first spring member 58 and a second spring member 60 that bias the first inclined side edges 32 and second inclined side edges 44 in a direction of approaching each other. The first spring member 58 and the second spring member 60 press the first contact points 38 and the second contact points 50 toward the inclined parts 18 press-fitted therebetween.
