In the present invention, a terminal comprises: a case having a first wall, a second wall, and a connecting wall; a first spring member having a first elastic piece and attached to the first wall; a second spring member having a second elastic piece and attached to the second wall; a plate-shaped first conductor that is thicker than the first elastic piece and has a first direction that is the longitudinal direction; a plate-shaped second conductor that is thicker than the second elastic piece and has a first direction that is the longitudinal direction. The first conductor has a first connecting section on one side in the longitudinal direction to which a separate member is connected, and a first plate part on the other side in the longitudinal direction. The second conductor has a second connecting section on one side in the longitudinal direction to which the separate member is connected, and a second plate part on the other side in the longitudinal direction. The first elastic piece is biased in a direction that brings the first plate part closer to the second plate part. The second elastic piece is biased in the direction that brings the second plate part closer the first plate part. Between the first plate part and the second plate part is a region in which a mating conductor inserted along the first direction is sandwiched.
