Abstract:
Provided is a terrestrial radio station for a wireless communication system which comprises a plurality of terrestrial radio stations disposed along a movement path of a mobile radio station, the terrestrial radio station to which a connection is made being switched as the mobile radio station moves, wherein said terrestrial radio station for a wireless communication system comprises: a wireless controller (203) that secures wireless resources for the mobile radio station when the mobile radio station communicates with another terrestrial radio station adjacent to the station to which the controller belongs before the station to which the controller belongs; and a communication status monitoring unit (206) that monitors a wireless signal transmitted from the mobile radio station to the other terrestrial radio station; the communication status monitoring unit confirming communication status between the mobile radio station and the other terrestrial radio station when it is detected that the signal has not be received for a specific length of time; and the wireless controller freeing the wireless resources when the communication status monitoring unit has confirmed that there is no communication between the mobile radio station and the other terrestrial radio station.
